Daily cleaning

Wash by hand: Never put the board in the dishwasher.
Use mild soap: Wash the board with a damp cloth and mild soap.
Dry immediately: Wipe the board completely dry with a clean towel and let it air dry upright to ensure air circulation before storing.

Conditioning

Apply oil: Apply a generous coat of food-safe mineral oil, or a mixture of mineral oil and beeswax, to the entire surface.
Rub it in: Use a clean cloth to rub the oil in, making sure to cover the edges and sides as well.
Let it soak: Allow the oil to soak in for at least 30 minutes, or even overnight for a new board.
Buff the surface: Buff off any excess oil with a clean cloth.
Repeat as needed: Repeat the oiling process whenever the board looks dry.
