Chateau La Bridane 2017, Saint Julien, Bordeaux

One of the rare, unclassified estates in Saint-Julien, Château La Bridane is a dense estate vineyard sandwiched between the prestigious parcels of Château Léoville-Poyferré and Léoville-Las Cases.
A gorgeous blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, this 2017 vintage oozes aromas of violet, currants, black pepper and tobacco. With a medium-bodied finish and elegant soft mouthfeel, it is rich with structure and fruit, easily accessible with great aging potential.

Vert de Vin says
91/100
The nose is aromatic and offers a small power. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with very fine touches of violet and fine hints of liquorice. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, gourmandize as well as a mineral/fresh frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy blackberry and small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with fine touches of violet and discreet hints of liquorice and caramelization. Tannins are very finely marked."
